About the Instructor

Jonathan Rogers, CHP, created this course to offer an online solution in addition to an in-class solution.

Jonathan is an Assistant Professor at Uniformed Services Universtiy of the Health Sciences College of Allied Health Sciences with over seven years of teaching experience. In addition, he has over a decade of experience in multiple disciplines of health physics (nuclear power, nuclear medicine, medical radiation safety, non-ionizing, and nuclear weapons).

This course was developed to meet the needs of professionals and their busy work and family schedules. Jonathan developed the online course to cater to those desiring a preparatory option that did not involve leaving family or work, and one that significantly reduced the costs of traveling, lodging, and using valuable employment leave.

Jonathan's goal was to provide a concise one-week course that lays the foundations so the student spends less time on organizing, developing, and creating a study strategy, and more time actively drilling CHP problems that lead to the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to pass the ABHP CHP Part II exam.

Feeling challenged? Jonathan passed both part I and part II of the exam in the same year! Many CHPs have opined that preparing for part II goes a long way in preparing for part I. Jonathan agrees. If eligible for the part II exam and have never taken part I, do as Jonathan did. Take this course! With limited additional studies, you can prepare yourself to take both parts at the same time and knock out board certification in one year!
